Jeanne Riley “Confessions of a Serial Quilter”
April 11, 2018 3:05 amIn the early 70’s Jeanne inadvertently discovered quilting and immediately ditched all of her interest in other crafts such as sewing, macramé, decoupage, and has been quilting continuously since then. In the 80’s she had a dream job working part-time in in a quilt shop and teaching classes and she has continue to teach quilting to anyone who shows the least bit of inclination toward it. After retiring from her day job as an administrator at Syracuse University, she and her husband relocated to Lancaster in2008 to be closer to family and in record time she became and has remains very involved with the Red Rose Quilters Guild in Lancaster.
