Jill Coleman has arranged a visit of the traveling vintage linen trunk show and four (4) of the guild’s members will demonstrate quilt related activities
In addition to demos this month there will be a special viewing of 19 vintage linens quilted as part of challenge. We are lucky enough to be the first to have this traveling trunk show that will visit guilds and be displayed at shows throughout 2017. As a member of a Facebook group, Quilt Vintage, I was fortunate to be a part of this challenge. Nineteen linens were given at random to 19 quilters of the group (out of 400 who wanted to participate) to “quilt as desired” and return to the moderator who initiated this challenge and organized the trunk show, Kelly Cline. At the end of the tour all of the linens will be returned to the quilter.
