Greetings and Merry Christmas from QSI,
your quilt history corner.
Our luncheon with Lancaster quilt collector and author Trish Herr was beyond our wildest expectations. Her collection rivals any museum and the real plus was being up close & personal. We saw PA textiles mostly, quilts, pillowcases and samplers.
Our holiday celebration will be at Connie Holland’s lovely home on the Gettysburg Battlefield. Her collections are also a treat for the eyes!
The 2014 year will continue with our monthly meeting being held at the York County Heritage Trust. We meet the second Thursday of each month. Our meetings are from 10 a.m. To 2:00.
We welcome you to join us. Membership is free in January-actually February also, and then March. We will extend it through April & May with a free coupon in join in June. What a deal!
Have a blessed holiday.

York Hospital Pediatrics Donations
I want to give a big Thank You for the adorable baby quilts that were placed in our donation basket. The basket will be at the end of the sign up table again this month. We need burp pads, pillow cases and small quilts for children. Just think if every member made 1 item we would have over 100 to give to the pediatric department.
